Rosa Clara’s 2009 Collection derives its inspiration from two different trends. One trend, of simple lines with close-fitting gowns, is created through natural draped silk muslin which encircles the body with infinite folds and tumbling pleats, creating skirts that are sheer and floating. The silk stitching utilized creates sculptured silhouettes inspired by classic goddesses.
The second trend, volume, uses fabrics such as natural taffeta and silk organza with floral appliques to give skirts spectacular volume that combine with the plain hand-stitched main section of herringbone pleats.
