Ana Torres 2010 Bridal and Evening Collection

The Cordoba designer Ana Torres has taken coral reefs and the vibrant colours they contain as the inspiration for the forthcoming 2010 spring-summer season, which give her designs the personal, characteristic touch that has been found in her collections for over 25 years.

The blue tones, which range from sky blue to the most impressive turquoises, transport us to warm Caribbean waters. She adds emerald green and salmon tones to these colours.

The lightness of silk muslin gives her designs an extraordinary diaphanous nature which manages to simulate the movement of waves. All this, together with the clever fall and her carefully studied volumes, makes the collection highly varied yet, at the same time, as uniform and symbiotic as the ecosystem in a coral reef.
