Upcycled fashion the new fashion in town
Advertisements Have you heard about the new upcycled fashion trend? I’m really pleased to learn that so many people are thinking more and more about the ethical sense of our fashion and an upcycled fashion blog is not perceived as a unique trend anymore. I’m really glad that many bloggers are joining this great initiative and they promote upcycled fashion items.
Many of us perceive fashion as unique and singular but truth be told its very hard not to think of all those items and materials that get wasted after we no longer like the trend or are simply left out due to problems in their manufacturing. Ranges like haute couture and made to measure will always focus on luxury and will be proud of their manufacturing ways. But I’m glad that more reasonable ranges are thinking of upcycled fashion and are willing to give it a go by proposing items like that to the market.
Will you buy an item that was recycled out of something old? I know the thought might seem strange at times but in the end its the most sensible way to do it. I will gladly wear items that are meant to use what we already have than a new item that will cut new resources. Upcycled fashion is one of my favorite trends at the moment and I really hope many more will follow.
Maybe not in the far future we’ll be able to have complete wardrobes with items that have been reused. Vintage has been a trend that we all adopted really quickly so why not focus on something similar yet a bit more modern and fashion forward. Sure not all of us would wear a jacket made of plastic or a pair of trousers made of paper, but I’m sure there are items that we can all find some good use too. Why say you? Will you give it a go?
