Wedding Gown Guide: Deep V

Deep V-necks are one of the hottest new necklines to pop up on the most recent bridal runways, and we can see why: They manage to be sexy and flattering at the same time, drawing the eye the down and, therefore, elongating a bride’s figure. It’s also no secret that a deep V packs a punch with its pointy geometric shape — it can provide a much-needed layer of drama to a more romantic gown.

The straps may be thick pieces of fabric or thin straps, even chains or elastic. For this guide I chose to differentiate between halter and halter straps.

Wedding Gown Guide: Long Sleeves

You’ve been asking for it and the bridal designers heard your prayers. Sleeves came down the runway at nearly every show of this season’s Bridal Fashion Week, but they’re not just for keeping cozy at a winter wedding. We saw super sheer sleeves that were barely visible, long intricate designs that snaked down the arms, and classic all-over lace reminiscent of weddings past.
