Wedding Gown Guide: BallGown Wedding Dress

Bateau is a princess-cut gown that combines the majestic volume of the skirt in tulle and lace with the simple and classic bodice of a normal princess gown – this style is a combination between the princess gown and the contessa ball gown. Perfect for the bride that wants a bit more oomph to her wedding gown.

Wedding Gown Guide: Crop Top

We’ve seen a steady stream of crop tops for the past few runway rounds, but this season, there infiltrated the bridal world even more. We spotted everything from a twinkling, belly-bearing sweater to layered separates with no skin showing at all.

Wedding Gown Guide: Long Sleeves

You’ve been asking for it and the bridal designers heard your prayers. Sleeves came down the runway at nearly every show of this season’s Bridal Fashion Week, but they’re not just for keeping cozy at a winter wedding. We saw super sheer sleeves that were barely visible, long intricate designs that snaked down the arms, and classic all-over lace reminiscent of weddings past.

An empire dress is defined by the raised waistline that sits just below the bust, from which the rest of the dress flows down to the hem. This style is can be paired with a square neckline and wide set straps or sleeves, but it can also be seen as a strapless style.

Wedding Gown Guide: Transparent Skirt

Recently I stumbled upon some articles that wore tearing apart the transparent wedding gowns. While I myself am against a sexy dress for the ceremony ( i prefer a classy romantic gown) I can’t understand why someone would be against a sexy party gown with a transparent skirt. The truth is some people just like to be negative and impose their own insecurities. My advice: go with what you love and enjoy your wedding day as much as you can, you’ll be lovely and loved.
