Angel Sanchez developed an appreciation for fashion at a young age while surrounding himself with dress forms and fabrics in his mother’s Venezuelan atelier. It wasn’t until 1987, after two years as an architect, that Sanchez returned to his fashion design roots.

He quickly rose to fame throughout Latin America, and expanded internationally in 1997, when the company headquartered in New York City. In 1999, Sanchez debuted his bridal collection in the United States and presented his evening collection during New York Fashion Week at Bryant Park.
