Adventure honeymoon: fishing
Advertisements I know, my perfect honeymoon is a long long and I really mean long stay in Paris. It involves shopping, romantic dinners and Hollywood like kisses under the Eiffel Tower. But we can’t always get that and maybe after a lavish wedding ceremony we should consider a more adventurous honeymoon that will be more appealing to our groom. So what do you say about fly fishing?Yeah, not exactly the most romantic way to spend your honeymoon but you have to admit that wild nature and sage fly rods might become interesting after a while. Sure you won’t become an expert in hardy fly rods and you probably won’t catch the biggest fish in the pond but you’ll surely enjoy it.
And if it’s a bit too much for a honeymoon than you could handle consider it as a returning gift for your then husband. It will be a nice surprise and I’m sure he’ll appreciate it after a month of shopping in Paris. Also try to keep it as nice as possible, going fishing doesn’t mean you can’t see amazing places or you won’t stay at some great resorts. Just make sure they offer great fishing facilities that will please your hubby.
Once that is settled you can also see if there’s anything else around there except fishing, who knows what amazing places you’ll discover when trying not to scare the fish. At the end of the day your honeymoon is about enjoying yourselves and I think there’s no better place than being together. And if he did compromise for the wedding why not make a surprise and compromise for your honeymoon. It’s a great way to start a marriage as fishing means being patient and hoping for the best sure you will not always catch the best fish but you will sure fish enough to make a good dinner.
