Prince Georg Friedrich Ferdinand of Prussia married Princess Sophie of Isenburg in Potsdam, Germany. The prince is the great-great-grandson of Kaiser Wilhelm II, who was the last King of Prussia and by extension, the last German Emperor. As AP reported, he abdicated the throne during World War I in 1918. The German monarchy ceased to exist thereafter.
