Carolina Herrera worked lace in a number of whimsical ways. She opened the show with a series of gowns featuring hand-painted lace motifs, later moving into several metallic variations. A gold Chantilly lace gown featured a gold embroidered bodice and waist, while another Chantilly style was decorated in beautiful silver beading.
