FahionBride Icon: Leighton Meester
AdvertisementsSad that Gossip Girl ended? Well we should do a remember post with their styles, don’t you think?! Let’s start with a mix of Leighton Meester’s style and Blair Waldorf, even do they are sometimes different in styles usually they blend in quite well. And even do Leighton tries hard to erase the character that made her famous from our memory we sure will remember her like this for quite a while (won’t we?). Hope you like it!

FahionBride Icon: Elizabeth Taylor
AdvertisementsWho can forget about Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra or her seven wedding? She was the icon of her time and unlike many stars of that era she was wilder and livelier! So as her fashion style, as Liz was never afraid to wear a bit more cleavage or a special design gown. For todays post I chose some of her conservative looks – but I will sure make a special post about her more unusual looks as well. You can’t dislike Liz as she is purely fabulousness!

Steal that style: Gwen Stefani
AdvertisementsGwen Stefani graces the cover of Vogue this December (for their January Edition) and I can’t help but wonder how more beautiful can she get with each month she passes. Not sure what her secret is but it’s lovely to watch a star that ages gracefully and learns to be more graceful and elegant each day.
Guess we all remember her as the rock chic (and God knows she’s still rocking at 43) but we’ve also seen her softer side when she’s out running errands or playing with her boys (Gavin included). For this steal that style piece I’ve chosen more glammed up outfits but our starlet loves to keep it comfy as well. Don’t you just love her?

Steal that style: Amber Heard
AdvertisementsI first saw Amber Heard on the Rum Diaries starring alongside Johnny Deep and I was mesmerized by her old Hollywood glam. Must confess I wasn’t keen on the other parts she played, haven’t seen many of them either, but I admire her fashion sense.
She has this great equilibrium between her vixen moments, with plunging necklines and tight fitted gowns, and her every day wear, comfy yet elegant and classy. Another bonus goes to her perfect hairstyles, by all means her style is one to steal. Watch her in the The Joneses, The Rum Diary and All the Boys Love Mandy Lane.

Steal that style: Downtown Abbey Lady Mary and Matthew Crawley
AdvertisementsAre you guys die hard fans of Downtown Abbey? Then you were sure delighted by a vintage wedding as delicate and elegant as Lady Mary’s. The gown she wore was the most expensive costume they made for the series till date. ‘Lady Mary’s wedding dress was the most expensive costume we’ve made. It cost around £4,000 to make,’ Downton Abbey costume designer Caroline McCall tells ‘It’s a silver lace tabard fabric that goes into a train at the back, and underneath is a silk dress with silk sleeves. The detail at the back wasn’t really seen on camera but the lace goes into a V at the back with tiny buttons and it’s completely edged with tiny rice pearls and Swarovski crystal.’
Lady Mary, played by Michelle Dockery and Matthew Crawley, played by Dan Stevens tied the knot in the first episode of the new series. I love a good vintage wedding and this wasn’t a disappointment. Stunning costumes!

Steal that style: Vanessa Traina and Maxwell Snow
AdvertisementsWhen Riccardo Tisci creates your wedding gown and bases that design on Givenchy Haute Couture archives you already know that dress will be breath taking even before you see it. And Vanessa Traina was a very lucky girl on the day she said I do to Maxwell Snow.
Not a conventional bride, what could we expect their wedding proposal was in the bathtub, but a very elegant and stylish bride. I have a soft spot for the lace back and the frontal zipper. The wedding reception was held in Pacific Heights, San Francisco, at her mother’s house, who is no other than Danielle Steel.
Her perfect dress was accompanied by a Madonna veil and studded white satin–and–leather heels; designed by Tisci.

Steal that style: 2012 Golden Globe
AdvertisementsIt’s the first award ceremony of the season and the time for Hollywood to make a serious fashion statement on the red carpet. But tonight the ladies shied away from colour stepping out instead in pale, cool and snow-inspired hues for a series of white hot looks.

Steal that style: Golden Globe 2012
AdvertisementsWith any prestigious awards ceremony, all the ladies know that their choice of attire will be studied, scrutinised and praised or slated. But it could also mean the chance to raise their profile, especially if their outfit stands out from the crowd – which seemed to be the case at this year’s Golden Globes.

Steal that style: Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries
AdvertisementsKim said ‘I do’ in the Vera Wang creation that boasted a full tulle skirt, a basque waist a Chantilly lace-covered bodice and long train. Her cream rose bouquet complemented the Lorraine Schwartz diamond encrusted headpiece, part of a staggering $10million worth of jewellery by the jewellery maker, glittering on her forehead.
