The bodice on Eve of Milady couture wedding gowns are one of the crowing jewels; fitting like a dream and flattering always. Most Eves are created with their signature dropped waist which dips slightly at the small of the back giving the bride who wears it a remarkable and enviable shape.

Dear bloggers:
We have received some of these gowns you have pictured here and I will tell you a few things:
First: Eve gowns are more stunning in person than in the photos. Photos do not do them justice at all. The Charity Gown (part of the proceeds of the pink ballgown go to research for breast cancer) is phenomenal. I don’t know how she creates this gown. Also, it is made here in the US. And it is affordable, retailing at around $3500–considering it is pure silk, made in the USA, and is OMG beyond your imagination stunning, stunning stunning!
I have a background in fine, detailed work. My mother is 80 years of age and makes hand made lace with a needle and thread using techniques that have been handed down from the middle east since ancient times. She is also an expert seamstress. I have worked with her since the age of 12 cutting patterns and watching what goes into making hand made, hand beaded couture garments. The work on an Eve gown is superb, the fit is beyond amazing. The beadwork, embroidery, fabric–it isn’t just couture. These gowns are works of art that continue to capture our imaginations year after year, generation after generation. Every time an Eve comes in we all buzz with excitement and are in awe, especially at the craftsmanship, the beadwork, and the artistry of the gowns–the emblems and hidden details (hearts that are placed right over the bride’s heart in the most delicate embroidery that it would escape your notice, dewdrops of swarovski crystal that drip like tears (happiness of the bride, a dawn of a new day?) from rosepetals, descending down from the bodice into a florid symphony of embroidered gems throughout the skirting. Eve is a true artist, not just a designer. It is a privilege to carry her line. Any bride who owns a gown by her should consider it a privilege to pass down from generation to generation as well. There is not a flourish in her motifs that exists without thought or reason. Not just grand in design, but with meaning in her details, Eve designs for the bride. Next time, if you have the opportunity to look closely at an Eve gown, take a second look at her gowns. Maybe that is what has entranced brides so much without their knowing it–the artistry behind the design.
