Although details of the bridal gown have been kept top secret, royal watchers believe the dress will be created by Edouard Vermeulen. The prestigious designer was responsible for the wedding dresses of both Princess Mathilde and Princess Laurentien, the wife of Prince Constantine of the Netherlands. It has been confirmed that Claire will wear a vintage veil of Brussels lace which was worn by three generations of royal brides, beginning with Queen Paola’s grandmother Laura Mosselman du Chenoy in 1877. The veil will be paired with an antique tiara, a gift from the king and queen.
