Wedding Dress Designers to Follow in 2016

    Advertisements

One of the best things about working in this industry is that it is in a constant state of flux. Just when we think we have seen it all, we come across a designer, or wedding boutique, that offers something truly unique. This year is no exception; there are some beautiful designs out there.

New designers have created some of them, but we are pleased to say that many of the established labels have also come up with new and fresh dress designs and looks. As you will see from the roundup below this is certainly the case for 2016.

    Nicole Spose

Nicole Spose is an Italian designer. This company’s dresses are simple, but sophisticated. The focus is on feminine designs that flatter the figure and bring a touch of fairytale magic to a wedding.

This year, their Colet gowns are particularly pretty. They are available in a range of blush colours with floral accents, which reflect the colour trends that are appearing on the catwalks across Europe.

    Sweetheart dresses by Justin Alexander

This designer is a great example of an established brand that moves with the time. It was 1949, when Justin Alexander launched its first bridal gown.

From the start, the company focused on combining high quality fabrics with simple designs. Today, they have continued with that tradition.

For 2016, the accent is on recreating the simple classic silhouette. However, the design that caught our eye is a three quarter length ball gown with tulle overlay. Full-length wedding gowns are the norm, so it is refreshing to see a designer include a dress in their collection that does not reach the floor.

    Kenneth Winston

The Kenneth Winston company motto is ‘simple is best’, something that is reflected in their designs. They make fantastic dresses for all kinds of brides. For 2016, flattering drop waist designs are strongly represented in their range of feminine lace appliqué gowns.

Kenneth Winston’s Femme range is particularly popular with curvier brides. This designer offers a range of shapes and styles that you rarely see in other plus-size bridal collections. Therefore, if you are looking for something different this label is a good starting point.

    Augusta Jones

Augusta Jones is a relatively new wedding dress design company, which was started in England, in 1999. Even though their dresses have grown in popularity over the past few years, they are still considered an exclusive, intimate boutique brand.

They make beautiful dresses that can all be personalised, and are designed to flatter virtually any figure. A great example of the type of dresses they produce is their Anita design.

This highly stylish, lace, mermaid style gown features a flattering v neckline and a cut that hugs the figure. We know that this dress will look spectacular on practically any bride.

    Where to buy

You can find some wonderful wedding dresses in Leeds. There is a lot more choice available in a large city, which means that you can easily find gowns made by all of the designers above, and many more.

Are You Ready For a Super Sexy Wedding Dress?

    Zahavit Tshuba

Deep V-necks are one of the hottest new necklines to pop up on the most recent bridal runways, and we can see why: They manage to be sexy and flattering at the same time, drawing the eye the down and, therefore, elongating a bride’s figure. It’s also no secret that a deep V packs a punch with its pointy geometric shape — it can provide a much-needed layer of drama to a more romantic gown.
