    Rosa Clara 2011 Bridal Collection

    January 17, 2011 /

While Rosa Clara’s 2010 collection was characterized by subtle forms with soft textures (as worn by Mischa Barton on the catwalk), the Rosa Clara 2011 collection is innovative and defiant. Her 2011 bridal collection uses black as a leading element, in homage, the designer says, to all of the brides of the past who had to get married in black.

    Pierre Cardin 2010 Bridal Collection

    January 14, 2011 /

As a brand, Pierre Cardin has always stood for avant guarde, glamour, and trend. Pierre Cardin’s bride expresses her sophisticated personality letting herself be wound up by textiles that are often assembled to one another such as silk, embroidered gauze, metal silk taffetas, tulle, and pleated organza, while at the same time using color as a tool for seducing: from delicate watery green to sophisticated lilac, to passionate red.

    Rosalynn Win 2011 Bridal Collection

    January 14, 2011 /

Award-winning designer Rosalynn Win has had a long love affair with couture, celebrating all aspects of fashion. Born in Rangoon, Burma she has many fond memories of visiting her grandmother’s house where, at the young age of 5 years old, the first fashion seed was planted.

Her grandmother was a true couturier who sewed beautifully and designed for a varied range of clientele. She would make patterns on sheets of paper as Rosalynn watched in amazement and helped cut out.

Ever since then Rosalynn’s fascination with creating garments increasingly grew resulting in a yearning to learn all aspects of couture, which has come naturally to Rosalynn over the years.
