TheFashionBrides: Mikado Satin

Mikado Satin is making a cool comeback after a few years in which the designers focused more on lace and tulle – this materiel is suited more for sober styles and therefor a bit less sexier than some of the brides would wish. However it remained always an absolute favorite off the Spanish designers. These 12 models are from Pronovias 2016 collection. I swan over the little peekaboo tulle and mikado gown, the way the tulle peaks between is just pure chic.

Meet the designer: Limor Rosen

Meticulous patterns, soft and flowing, carefully selected fabrics, and uncompromising sewing. I believe in minimalist and graceful design, comfortable and free of passing trends, and in particular in creative work that pays attention to every small detail of the garment. The old dressmaker’s dummy, the sewing and knitting machines, tape measure and threads – all these are etched in my memory as part of every visit to my grandmother, one of the pioneers of fashion in Israel. – Limor Rosen

The FashionBrides Trends: Knee Length Wedding Gowns

Ines Di Santo
Shorter and shorter we go but as sexy as a short wedding gown is some brides have their doubt on how short should they go – that’s why a tea length or knee length skirt is the best way to go. Have a look at what the designers have created for us and have your pick. I must confess I actually love the details from Ines di Santo as I have never seen a dress combining that way of short and long in a wedding style before. What do you think about it?

The FashionBrides Trends: A touch of black

Vera Wang
Black may not be your first thought when thinking of bridal colors but it’s a stylish way to stir a bit of controversy. In recent 2016 bridal collection we see a subtle hint of black as you can see in Vera Wang or Delsa Italy’s gowns but you can always go for a bold black lace as the creators of Enchanting. Tell me would you go for a black accent on your wedding gown or would you stick to pink and purples?
