Wedding Gown Guide: Halter

A halter-style neck is used to create a backless look on a dress. Typically, two pieces of fabric are brought from the bust around the back of the neck and either tied or clasped together for support. The straps may be thick pieces of fabric or thin straps, even chains or elastic. For this guide I chose to differentiate between halter and halter straps.

Amazing Halter Wedding Gowns You’ll LOVE Right Away

Simone Marulli

A Halter Wedding Dress is a wonderfully designed dress with a single non-broken strap that wraps around the back of your neck and creates a V-shaped cleavage line in the front. The bottom of the dress cascades beautifully down the length of your leg and strokes the ground with the softest of touches. This classic styled wedding dress is for the classy woman that does not want to be too flashy but wants to feel sexy at her wedding day.
