His well-known architectural style coupled with being contemporary and feminine, has made Sanchez one of the most important fashion designers of the new international generation.
Along with other designers from the previous generation, like Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera, Sanchez represents the particular perspective of the international Latin-American style. After acquiring his architectural degree from Simon Bolivar University in 1984, Angel Sanchez began his fashion design career in Caracas, Venezuela in 1987. He quickly became known nationally as a prestigious designer.
