Prince Felix of Luxembourg has married his long-time love Claire Lademacher – just three days after they tied the knot in an intimate civil ceremony.
Grand dukes and duchesses, princes and princesses and a smattering of arch dukes lined up at the Basilique Sainte Marie-Madeleine in Saint-Maximin-La-Sainte-Baume to greet the couple.
On Wednesday, Prince Felix, 29, and 28-year-old Claire, wed in a civil ceremony in her hometown of Frankfurt, Germany. The bride opted for an understated look—choosing a simple white peplum sheath dress, aquamarine drop earrings, and Ferragamo bow heels.

Prince Felix of Luxembourg and his bride Claire Lademacher had a second wedding in the Provencal town of Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume on Saturday: a religious ceremony, following their civil ceremony on Tuesday.
Claire, who memorably wore a modern peplum wedding dress earlier this week, truly outdid herself in a stunning Elie Saab gown. The bride and groom were joined by Felix’s parents Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Theresa.

Royal Bride: Prince Felix of Luxembourg and Claire Lademacher
Prince Felix of Luxembourg and his fellow student Claire Lademacher married today in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, Var, south of France. First to enter the basilica was Luxembourg’s Archbishop Jean-Claude Hollerich, followed at about 11:15am by Laurent Mosar, Prince Guillaume and Princess Sybilla, Prince Jean and Countess Diane de Nassau, Princess Margaretha of Liechtenstein with Prince Nicolas, Archduke Christian and Archduchess Marie-Astrid of Austria.
Ten minutes later, the Grand Ducal couple and the hereditary Grand Ducal couple entered. At 11am Claire Lademacher stepped our of a 2006 Rolls Royce Phantom and joined her father, Harmut Lademacher.
Archbishop Jean-Claude Hollerich celebrated the union in the presence of 370 guests – members of the grand ducal family, the Lademacher family and friends.
The wedding gown was signed by Ellie Saab, the same designer that dresses Countess Stephanie de Lannoy of Belgium.
