Lilly Pulitzer 2011 Spring Bridal Collection

    July 6, 2011 /

It all started with a juice stand in Palm Beach 50 years ago. Lilly, a young New York Socialite, had just eloped with Peter Pulitzer and settled in Palm Beach. Looking for a fun hobby, Lilly decided to open a juice stand featuring local citrus. Her business was a hit, but all the squeezing made a mess of her clothes, so Lilly designed a dress to camouflage the stains. The result: A comfortable sleeveless shift made of bright, colorful printed cotton in pink, green, yellow and orange-the Classic Shift.

Stephanie James Couture 2011 Bridal Collection

    July 6, 2011 /

Stephanie began her label with her husband James when she couldn’t find the right gown for her own wedding. Her long search led her to create her own gown – a beautiful tea length gown with a chocolate sash. Complete with petticoat too I might add! She received such great feedback on the gown from fellow photographers and friends she decided, with her new husband, to go into business and Stephanie James Couture was born.

    1. Alexander McQueen can always be relied upon for designs with an edge, and these navy patent-leather pumps are no exception. Adorned with a signature Swarovski crystal-embellished skull, the satin ankle cuff instantly transforms these heels from simple to standout.

    2. Give a polished wardrobe a graphic update with Tory Burch’s camel suede and white leather-trimmed sandals. Wear this cutout style with a pussybow blouse and an ivory pencil skirt for classic sophistication.

    3. In a classic shade of navy, Yves Saint Laurent’s signature ‘Tribtoo’ suede pumps are sure to inject instant wow factor into any outfit. Show them off to maximum effect with bare legs and your favorite LBD.
