On February 14, 1981, Henri of Luxembourg married Cuban-born María Teresa Mestre y Batista-Falla after meeting her while both were studying at the University of Geneva. I absolutely love her smile and total love she has for him.

This is one of my favorite brides and one that trully stands the test of time. Her daughters in law, Stephanie and Claire sure follow in her steps.

She is so elegant and nice in her style ( see more here) that she resembles a real Disney Cinderella.

Here are some new images I found showcasing her amazing Ellie Saab gown and the Lannoy family tiara ( pictured bellow).

Madeleine was wearing a stunning white lace dress designed by Valentino Garavani when she tied the knot to British-American O’Neill on Saturday in front of around 470 European royals and top New York socialites.

O’Neill fought back tears as Madeleine walked down the aisle with her father, King Carl XVI Gustaf, to a traditional Swedish wedding march.

The couple met through mutual friends in New York, where they both live, and were first spotted together at the Central Park Boathouse in January 2011.

Royal coronation: Queen Maxima of the Netherlands

With her easy charm and ready smile, Princess Maxima was quick to win over the Dutch people, immersing herself in the language and culture of her adopted country and even swimming in an Amsterdam canal for charity. The future queen was also instrumental in transforming the reputation of her husband, whose younger years as a boozing university student had led to doubts over his suitability as head of the House of Orange.
