Wedding Gown Guide: Halter
A halter-style neck is used to create a backless look on a dress. Typically, two pieces of fabric are brought from the bust around the back of the neck and either tied or clasped together for support. The straps may be thick pieces of fabric or thin straps, even chains or elastic. For this guide I chose to differentiate between halter and halter straps.

With such variety, it’s near impossible not to find the perfect look for your big day — so long as you aren’t hoping for a naked dress. “I definitely wouldn’t say that any of the dresses are overly beaded or overly sexy.
