Before founding Colour Nude when she was 25 years old, she had been finalist at SIMOF (Salón Internacional de Moda Flamenca) “Young Designers Contest”, winner of “Andalucía Young Designers Contest”, finalist in “Young Spanish Designers Contest” and finalist in “European Bridal Dress Contest”.

Mak Tumang is a designer with vision. His rich designs and elaborate details are often influenced by his love of opulent costumes and Architecture of different eras. He uses his strong background in historical costumes and ornaments as his inspiration in manufacturing fabrics using silk, tulle, felt and others for his creations, be it for clients, fashion shoots or runway shows. He is experimental when it comes to fabrics and textures. His penchant for using natural, environmental and eco-friendly materials combined with the beauty and flair of the fashion industry landed him an accolade as he was adjudged as the “Grand Prize Winner” in the Miss Earth 2nd Eco-fashion Contest (2009).

Veejay Floresca 2013 Real Brides Collection (II)
The youngest in the spread, Floresca’s start in bridal design was a rocky one. “The first wedding gown i made was a complete disaster!” he reveals. “But I did my best to fix it, and after revising it three times, it came out really nice.” Since then, young brides have gone to him, perhaps enticed by the white finale gowns of his fashion shows (they are always the first ones to sell). “I really didn’t plan on making bridal gowns my business,” Floresca muses, “but it’s really a calling.”
