    Eden Bridals 2010 Bridal Collection

    November 22, 2009 /

Eden Bridals has been designing and manufacturing wedding apparels since 1988. Their product line includes bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, junior bridesmaids dresses and flower girl dresses. Because acquiring a wedding gown is a highly personal process that requires the expertise of an authorized dealer, they do not sell our gowns over the Internet.

    Josep Font 2010 Bridal Collection

    November 21, 2009 /

Josep Font presented his collection for the first time at the Cibeles Fashion Show in 1989. That same year he also had the opportunity to display his designs at the Contemporary Fashion Fair in Milan, where he returned in the summer of 1991, and at the Piscine Deligny in Paris. He has enjoyed constant success in France, where he received the national Fil D’Argent Award in 1989.

His international expansion continued throughout the nineties. In 1993 he was invited to participated in the Igedo Fair in Düsseldorf, which provided a launch pad for the German market. In July 1997 he presented his Spring-Summer collection in Tokyo as well as in Barcelona. In September 2002 Josep Font reached an agreement with the Paris department store Galleries Lafayette de París, which now stocks his collection in its section known as Le laboratoire des créateurs. His next major international challenge is the opening of his own Paris store, situated in Rue Sourdière, just off Rue Saint-Honoré.

    Hot stuff: fab and glam

    November 20, 2009 /

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening….” – Coco Chanel

“I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.” — Audrey Hepburn

Fashion anticipates, and elegance is a state of mind … a mirror of the time in which we live, a translation of the future, and should never be static. – Oleg Cassini

Francesca’s talent for combining luxurious fabrics and delicate embroidery on prêt-a-porter silhouettes give the collection a unique feel of being traditional with a modern edge.

Add in coordinating bridesmaids and mothers and the complete wedding party will be totally Stunning, Stylish, and uniquely Scottish. Actually you don’t even have to be Scottish – it’s a great look and most people can find a Scottish connection somewhere in their family tree – or just make one up !!

    FashionBride Interview with Mauro Adami

    November 19, 2009 /

The DOMO ADAMI Bridal Couture Made in Italy collection captures, enchants and makes someone dream. It breaks the concepts of tradition and proposes gowns that can fit in the Haute Couture world.

That’s why I could resist to make a short interview with the designer behind this wonderful bridal range. Here are some of his beliefs and advices for all you FashionBrides.

    Hope you enjoy it!

    1. Tell us what are the main reasons that stand behind the brand Domo Adami?

Behind DOMO ADAMI there  is the creative ability and the need to fulfill the modern demands of organizing wedding parties, which have to be modern, lavish and always with a view to the special emotions that every  bride  experiences when she becomes the main character of the event.

    2.       And why Mauro Adami’s special  interest for the bridal industry?

I have always been fascinated by the emotional pomp. The bridal world is to me like a stage where fashion, Lighting, music and emotions work together in synchronization

    3.       Some of the best designers in the world are born in Italy. Do you think your background influenced in any way your creations?

I believe that everybody has his own artistic value in his own background and that creativity can be influenced by encounters and experiences. Being Italian my taste is closer to the classic Beauty concept. A concept which is now renewed culturally and aesthetically by the trends and influences I collect during my travelling all over the world and by the special people I meet every day.

    4.       Talk us trough the process of making a gown. And tell us if you have a special way of designing (maybe some superstitions when designing?)

First of all there is the emotion of an idea: a piece of fabric, a feminine  movement,  a setting  to personalize. All that harmonizes and bends in like in a ballet of atmospheres.

    5.       Do you have a favorite gown? One that you’ve created and has a special meaning. And if so, what does it make it so special?

The gown in itself is just a part of the artistic message. The gown has to find its bride and only when this happens, the party will start taking up color and rhythm. When the perfect bride wears the perfect dress, this becomes a unique piece: a  sheath dress, mermaid with a V neck on the back for a glamorous and feminine bride. A full wide ball gown for the dream which becomes reality.

    6.       How do you see a perfect bride? What should she wear?

The perfect bride is complete in all her features, in any single moment of the ceremony and of the reception. When she chooses her accessories, the details and the style, everything has to be perfect.

    8.       Do you prefer a more conventional style or go for the avant guard when designing your collections?

I prefer to know the traditions and the rules to create new routes which will  celebrate the modern and contemporary elegance.

    9.       What about white, should a bride consider having a different color for her dress?

White is the color which represents the bride. I drop the white only if I find a color which better expresses the emotion of the bride I am taking care of.

    10.   Tell us some more about your 2010 collection.  What are the novelties  you brings?

Simple lines, monochromatic and refined style for DA STUDIO Wedding Style & Glamour Collection: a modern  glamour made of simple but sophisticated luxury

    11.   What were your inspiration sources, what did you opt for as materials, shapes etc.

The 2010 Collections are the answer to the most modern social trends. Traditional brides to make people feel safe and to celebrate the event with great splendor and  minimal brides for something very exclusive.

    12.   Last but not least, do you have an advice for FashionBride readers?

I suggest they should research and be informed as much as possible. And entrust themselves to the professionals of the wedding.

Carlo Pignatelli Bridal Couture Collection 2010

    November 18, 2009 /

Pignatelli is the rebel who showed the fashion world that bridegrooms are just as important to be looked at as the bride. He showed us that men could wear Haut Couture and thus holds a reputed reputation for men’s formal wear. He gives us constantly unprecedented colours and styles in some of the most ceremonial moments in our lives.

With enormous success in Italy (whereby a quarter of all men receive their tuxedos from his fashion line), Germany, and the rest of Europe, Carlo Pignatelli has been able to expand his impeccable eye for precision to men, women, and children with ceremonial, classic, outside, prêt-a-porter, underwear, shoe, and accessory lines. He recently decided to expand his sphere of fans to the United States—providing magnificent shoes in New York and Los Angeles.
