In February 2002 Jorge Vázquez presented his first collection under his own name in Pasarela Cibeles, Madrid. His sixth runway, where he showed his 2005 SPRING-SUMMER collection both for men and women, was awarded with the L’Oreal price to best collection and young designer. Currently he continues his project under the brand name JV por Jorge Vázquez and his couture line, complemented with regular collaborations with other companies within the industry.
