The answer is easy: the wedding dress should be the bride’s secret until she is ready to walk along the aisle to the altar or enter the town hall. In particular, the groom should not have any idea at all on it even if maybe her girlfriends have had a preview, and her mother and bridesmaid were the ones who helped her with the choice.
